Beautifully said...a must read for many and a way of life for all, if we are to move forward. Can't wait to have a beverage discussion Reunion Weekend!
I too look forward to the weekend. I've become a bit anti-social as a result of adjusting to the distancing, and that goes against the grain. Thanks for the comment. I was looking forward to some objections to the blog. Not that I wanted to argue, but more to elaborate. Recall that great passage from Ecclesiastes, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; ... A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." The problem is how to determine "the time."
Perhaps it is always "time". This maybe what we, as humans, have chosen to overlook. On purpose or by accident, we are only concerned with me and now and why you don't think/feel/believe like I do.

Good point. How sad if we all agree. How lame a conversation on the Patio! How hopeless, growth and change. How damaged the human condition.
