I couldn't agree with your words more. It has always been a balancing act. Folks want a roaring economy with low inflation on costs but increases in wages. If at any point in time you don't have all 3 they blame the administration in the White House. The President actually has little control of the economy which is global not just national. What should the priority be in one of the richest countries in the world? I would certainly hope that ensuring children have food to eat would be at or near the top! I would call that Christian not Socialism.

It seems straight forward to me. Of course, there are other expenditures in the proposed Biden plan that will put stress on production. These, however, are almost all costs that will improve the long-term economy, thus cutting production and transportation costs. In the long run they should stabilize, if not reduce prices (or increase wages for workers or profits for investors.) What's not to like?
